Ingredients | Garlic Chicken Stir Fry Recipes2 tablespoons vegetable oil½ onion, sliced3 cloves garlic, sliced1 large skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces¼ cup oyster sauce3 tablespoons soy sauce1 pinch white sugar2 small chile peppers, sliced (Optional)⅓ cup water½ cup fresh basil leavesDirectionsHeat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add chicken; cook and stir until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir in chile peppers. Pour in water. Cook until slightly thickened, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in basil before serving.Substitute red pepper flakes for the chile peppers, or omit if you don't like spicy food.The favorite ingredient in this dish is the fresh basil.
